Because I help with Miracle League Baseball every year, I have seen her become a confident and fun young lady and improve her baseball skills every year in that league. With every swing of the bat and every smile she shares, she reminds people of the beauty of living life with joy and resilience. Read about this joyful young lady and heed her mom’s great advice.

You can learn a LOT from other parents of special needs kids!  Just ask when you need advice/information/support/help.

This young lady loves dogs. She seems to have a special bond with dogs as they understand her affection and return it with their wagging tails. She finds funny videos of dogs and shares them with others. When searching for things she liked, she tried many different activities. She is highly sociable, and getting involved in activities helped develop those skills. She is a successful adult, having a job she likes and friends and activities she enjoys.

This mom had some important advice. She said you can learn much from other parents of kids with special needs. Engaging with parents of kids with special needs is a deeply enriching experience that offers valuable insights into resilience, empathy, and the boundless nature of love. Their stories reveal the importance of patience, creativity, and the power of a supportive community (this mom suggests Integrated Community Solutions). Listening to their experiences allows one to appreciate diverse perspectives and the joy of celebrating every milestone. These interactions foster a deeper understanding of inclusion. I hope that in reading this story and others in my blog, you find something to learn and appreciate some valuable insights.
